Questions about attitudes, knowledge and understanding towards the existence of Sasirangan

Description

The instrument used is a questionnaire comprising 17 items encompassing students' attitudes, knowledge, and understanding regarding the existence of Sasirangan. The questionnaire employed binary response options (yes or no) along with explanations. Prior to data collection, the questionnaire was validated by two assessment experts and one education expert, achieving a validation rate of 86.67%, deemed highly valid according to (Arikunto, 2010). Additionally, item validity and instrument reliability are tested using Cronbach's alpha and Pearson correlation. The results indicate that 17 out of the 23 items tested are valid, and the questionnaire demonstrates high reliability with an r-value of 0.915. The instrument comprises two aspects: knowledge and understanding, as well as attitudes toward Sasirangan's existence. The knowledge and understanding aspect consists of 9 items, while the attitudes aspect comprises 8 items. The data further shows that students have knowledge and understanding of the existence of Sasirangan as a traditional fabric of South Kalimantan. The attitude aspect of the questions consists of eight items, with the results of the analysis in the file of data of the attitude aspect.

The questionnaire was then distributed and completed by biology-focused high school students in Banjarmasin. The data collected provide information on students' attitudes, knowledge, and understanding of Sasirangan as a unique fabric in South Kalimantan's society. Subsequently, the data was analyzed descriptively using percentages, with the aim of elucidating the data derived from the questionnaire responses of biology-focused high school students in Banjarmasin. Seen from the Research Roadmap, this data is valuable for further research in developing biology learning sources based on Sasirangan. Those who can benefit from these data are teachers, students, university students, researchers, and stakeholders. Data can be used for analyzing the development needs of various products such as teaching materials and biology learning media based on "sasirangan." This includes policies for implementing wisdom-based education in South Kalimantan at all levels of education (elementary school, junior high school, senior high school).
