Description

Thermal emission spectroscopy at high-temperatures. All data were acquired using a Nicolet Nexus 670 FTIR spectrometer using a a liquid nitrogen-cooled mercury cadmium telluride (MCT-B) detector. Samples were positioned in a microfurnace integrated with the spectrometer. The spectrometer and external components (including the microfurnace) are housed within a dry air (H2O and CO2 -scrubbed) environment. Note: All filename are in the format: E_MIN_TEMP E = is the experiment use, where F stands for Microfurnace MIN = is the target sample being acquired (e.g., FOR stands for forsterite) TEMP = is the temperature of sample in degrees Celsius All data are in the format: Column 1: Wavenumber Column 2: Detector Response (Voltage)
