Description

Dataset for soil incubations (cumulative CO2 emissions from continuously-wet and repeated wet-dry cycles) as well as figures of merit for statistical analyses (linear mixed-effects models pairwise Sidak tests showing the effects of transect type, paleostatus, degree of burial or exposure and their interactions on soil organic matter decay rates, fraction sizes and cumlative CO2 losses during continuous-wet and wet-dry cycling incubations). This dataset is supplementary to a manuscript in preparation by Dolui et al (Destabilization of buried carbon under changing moisture regimes, under review), a study which explores carbon dynamics of paleosols in burial and erosional transects of the Great Plains, Nebraska.
