Varicose veins (VV) are elongated, torturous veins of the lower limb. It is distended, swollen, twisted veins that are often greater than 3 millimeters and are most frequently found in the lower extremities. The aim of the study was to find out the prevalence and awareness of varicose veins among nursing staff in MMDU, 209 samples were recruited and were provided with an online questionnaire using google form including questions related to varicose veins prevalence and awareness. At the end of data collection and analysis, it was found that a fair number of participants were aware of Varicose veins.
