Description
The dataset includes categorized themes and anonymized representative quotes from participants. This dataset is particularly promising for longitudinal studies, incorporation of current complement the associated research article and can inform the design and implementation of child-centric digital health interventions in respiratory care.

Steps to reproduce
A qualitative focus group study was designed according to COREQ guidance for qualitative studies. Two online focus groups were conducted, one with seven healthcare professionals (HCPs) and one six with parents, using semi-structured topic guide. Focus groups were moderated by a facilitator to address queries and encourage participants to speak. Data collection was conducted online via the Microsoft Teams. Audiovisual recording of the sessions was performed using Open Broadcaster Software. A verbatim transcription was carried out followed by thematic analysis of the discussions. The data were manually analyzed according to the inductive approach to coding.
