This database contains the data analysed at the paper “Access to diagnosis of Trypanosoma cruzi infection in birthing people enrolled in a randomized clinical trial in Argentina” which objective was the comprehensive characterization of the T. cruzi infection status of birthing people enrolled in four public healthcare facilities situated within three endemic provinces of Northern Argentina. This database contains the baseline data of the women enrolled from June, 2019 to November 2022 in the Betty trial “Short-course Benznidazole Treatment to Reduce Trypanosoma cruzi Parasitic Load in Women of Reproductive Age: A Non-inferiority Randomized Controlled Trial“.
