Complete combinatorial growth of 8 PGPR strains under 27 multi-parameter environmental stress
Description
Number of generations, growth rate and generation time for the complete combination of 8 PGPR strains under 27 different multi-parameter stress conditions. The strains used were: AB - Azospirillum brasilense sp7, BS - Bacillus subtilis TMO, BV - Bradyrhizobium valentinum LmjM3, EM - Ensifer medicae M7-4, PC - Pseudomonas chlororaphis, PF - Pseudomonas fluorescens Biovar 1, PL - Pseudomonas lutea OK2T and PR - Pseudomonas rhizospherae IH5. Three parameters were evaluated: temperature (50°C, 30°C and -20°C), salinity (450 mM, 300 mM and 0 mM NaCl) and drought (35% w/v, 5% w/v and 0% polyethylene glycol, PEG6000). These conditions were combined to evaluate their joint effect, thus testing a total of 27 sets of environmental variables (26 combinatorial perturbations + 1 control conditions). Each CSV file corresponds to the data obtained under each experimental condition. Although the first columns in each file list the strains that make up each consortium, a Word file detailing the composition of each consortium is included. In addition, a metadata file is included which specifies the combination of temperature, salinity and drought to which each growth condition corresponds. These data were obtained using the High Throughput-Growth method (HT-Growth) described by Purswani et al., (2017). In addition, an HTML file is included that allows you to interact with the data and display it in different formats. REFERENCES Purswani, J., Romero-Zaliz, R. C., Martín-Platero, A. M., Guisado, I.
