Description

53 olive oils from Spain (20), Italy (20) and Greece (13) of extra virgin quality, harvested during the 2014/2015 season, were kindly supplied by Coop Switzerland (Basel, Switzerland). Authenticity was verified by the supplier by chemical and isotope analysis. Olive oil samples were analysed by headspace GC-IMS. The setup includes an Agilent 6890N gas chromatograph (Agilent Technologies, Palo Alto, USA), coupled with a standalone ion mobility spectrometer (Gesellschaft für Analytische Sensorsysteme mbH, Dortmund, Germany). Measurements were carried out in triplicates. Binary files (*.mea format G.A.S. Sensorsysteme m.b.H., Dortmund, Germany)
