To reveal the adverse effects of both ultra-high and extreme-low stocking densities on muscle metabolisms and immune system of grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idellus). Especially, to screen the DEGs associated with the differences in nutrients metabolism and immune responses from the transcriptome profiles of the three experimental groups, and reveal potential molecular regulatory mechanisms those contribute to these differences caused by different stocking densities.
