The following data was used to investigate the effects of cardiorespiratory fitness on the brain in postmenopausal women. It contains transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS), mean cortical thickness (MCT), and diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) measures from postmenopausal women. Age and cardiorespiratory fitness levels are also included. Fitness levels were estimated using using a modified version of the submaximal Astrand-Ryhming protocol.
