Steps to reproduce

Survey 1. Snowball convenience sample, data gathered via Google Forms in 2021 (digital questionnaire). Dataset file includes exact questions (in columns) and structure. Survey 2. Metadata created by manually reading and examining 508287 reviews from 115 hotels in 12 popular destinations. Data source: Tripadvisor (default top-10 hotels in the Tripadvisor 2023 global top destinations award list). No data was copied or saved anywhere either manually or mechanically (“scraping”). Notes kept from publicly visible information, creating metadata that was entered into a pre-structured data container, where the new data was organized and analyzed. The dataset file includes this metadata (29330 datapoints). Dataset file includes exact questions (in columns) and structure. Survey 3. A small supplementary survey. Data collected in 2024 by using SurveyMonkey service platform with balanced global target groups, N=50. Focusing on how guests feel about the presence of specific pet species (a) in a room next to them, and (b) in the common areas of the hotel. Dataset file includes exact questions (in columns) and structure.
