Description

Can dance improve turning in people with Parkinson’s disease? research data Objective: This study primarily investigates the effects of a dance intervention on selected functional parameters during the 180 turning phase of the Timed Up & Go test in people with Parkinson’s disease. We hypothesized that dance can improve selected functional turning parameters (NS and TTP) in PwP, thus enhancing functional mobility. The data shows: Participant's Characteristics; Control and Dance group Number of steps and total time of the 180 turning; Control and Dance group Z Axys orientation during the 180 turning phase of the Timed up and Go test, pre- and post-intervention, in the fast and self-selected speed.
