SPSS Datasets about the instructional effects of two types of Elaborative Feedback, more Control Group, during the completion of a task based on the response to a series of questions after reading a text. Three experimental conditions. Condition 1: Knowledge of Response (providing students with feedback about the correctness of their answer) plus Elaborative Feedback with information related to the correct idea. Condition 2: Knowledge of Response plus Elaborative Feedback with information related to mistakes. Condition 3 Only Knowledge of Response and neutral message. Data about: Age, Sex, Prior Knowledge, Times Previous Reading Text, and information about twelve question: Correction after the first attempt, try 1, before feedback, and Correction after the second attempt, try 2, after feedback. Also provided time reading feedback. The second study is similar, but the students can review the text. Times re-reading the text provides for each question.
