This dataset is composed of the every 5-day anomalies of surface currents, in the tropical Atlantic Ocean. Calculated from the OSCAR data set (every 5 days) with a resolution of 0.3333°, from October 22, 1992 to November 26, 2020. Geographical limits: 65°W - 15°E / 30°S – 30°N. The authors express their thanks to the TRIATLAS project (Tropical and South Atlantic climate-based marine ecosystem predictions for sustainable management), to Tropical Atlantic Interdisciplinary Laboratory on physical, biogeochemical, ecological and human dynamics (IJL TAPIOCA) and the Brazilian Research Network on Global Climate Change (Rede CLIMA).
