Typhoon low-level jet profile-level dataset derived from Doppler wind lidar observations
Description
This dataset provides a derived profile-level table used for the manuscript “Revealing Near-Surface Low-Level Jets in Typhoons with an Interpretable Symbolic Wind Profile Model.” The dataset summarizes typhoon-affected strong-wind profiles observed by Doppler wind lidar during Super Typhoon Mangkhut (2018) and Super Typhoon Lekima (2019). It is intended to support reproducibility of the wind-profile classification, low-level jet (LLJ) statistics, and symbolic wind-profile model analyses reported in the manuscript. The released table contains 827 valid fitted profiles. Each row corresponds to one wind-speed profile and includes typhoon and site metadata, typhoon-center distance, storm-relative stage, station quadrant, wind-profile morphology class, LLJ diagnostic quantities, fitted symbolic-model coefficients, and profile-level model performance metrics. Raw Doppler wind lidar profiles and point-level observed wind-speed profiles are not included in this release.

Steps to reproduce
Using the released profile-level dataset, users can reproduce the profile-type statistics, LLJ occurrence statistics, fitted-model error summaries, and grouped analyses reported in the manuscript.
