This is the quantitative data from a mixed study. 23 focused group discussions were conducted among older women who supervise the care of infants in seven communities to understand their views about infant vaccination timeliness and completion. The content of the FGDs were analyzed and the output used to design a 7-module training manual and short video which wee used to older women carers. Twelve immunization clinics were used and randomized to intervention and control arms (six each). The older women infant carers were trained on the importance of timely and complete infant vaccination in the intervention group, while the control group had their vaccination as usual. Data about the timeliness of the vaccination of infants in both groups were taken till completion at 9 months of age. Comparisons were then made regarding the timeliness and completion of vaccination in both group of infants.
