Description

Hemp, Cannabis sativa L., is one of the most controversial crops of human history, which is still illegal/ neglected in temperate countries including Malaysia. A framework for the development of hemp as a crop for the future in tropical environments has been published (Wimalasiri et al., 2021). This dataset contains some of the inputs and outputs produced during the development of a framework for hemp as a crop for the future in Malaysia. The data can be used in decision making regarding hemp cultivation in Malaysia. Five types of data are described in the database; climate data, soil data, suitability assessment, crop data and economic data. This dataset contains different types of raw, analysed and filtered data which are available in different formats such as tables, figures and raw map files.
