Description

This data set represents the analysis results and the raw data from a study in Thailand to demonstrate the effect of spectrum holding ceiling determination. To do this, the researchers retrieved data from Q3 2012 - Q1 2020 for the three largest mobile operators in Thailand (AIS, TRUE, and DTAC). From this massive archive, the researchers using various statistical methods and Excel and Stat software conducted an analysis of each operator’s total mobile users, their total mobile broadband users, the total revenue generated, each operators capital expenditures (CapEx), operating expenses (OPEX), and net profit in relation to per 1 MHz of spectrum owned and the industry average.
