Description

Data relate thermal transmittance limits for buildings across Member States. Data file provides a dataset detailing thermal transmittance limits for both new and existing buildings across all EU. These limits are outlined in accordance with the specific regulations of each nation, covering essential building components such as walls, windows, floors, and roofs. The dataset includes twenty-seven Excel sheets, each dedicated to a specific EU country, making it a valuable resource for understanding the diverse regulatory environments within the EU. For each country, the dataset defines the corresponding Köppen-Geiger climate zones and the applicable European climatic zones. The dataset indicates the year of the reference documents used for the transmittance values, ensuring that the data is contextualized within its historical framework.
