Description

We illustrate shape dynamic time warping (ShapeDTW) for 1D structure waveform inversion with examples from Tanzania, East Africa, and Northeastern Oklahoma. Seismograms of the Mw 5.9 Lake Rukwa, Tanzania earthquake (18 August, 1994) were recorded by 14 regional broadband seismographic stations. Seismograms of the Mw5.7 Prague, Oklahoma earthquake (6 November, 2011) were recorded by 8 regional broadband seismographic stations. This dataset includes seismograms and solved velocity models. In two examples, observed and synthetic seismograms are saved as SAC files in 'SAC_FILES' folders. The station numbers are listed in 'stationlist.txt' files. The 1D velocity models are saved as 'model.txt'.
