Description

This dataset presents urban grassland vegetation data from Jelgava, Latvia, based on field inspections of 1 × 1 m sample plots in urban grasslands. Vegetation was recorded using the Braun–Blanquet method, and the dataset includes information on species composition, cover, frequency, constancy, and similarity between plots, supporting studies on urban ecology and biodiversity. The data publication consists of two interrelated datasets: one containing field survey data on urban grassland vegetation and the other providing geographic coordinates of the surveyed sample plots. The coordinate dataset enables spatial analysis and the use of the data in GIS environments (e.g., ArcGIS) and other spatial analysis tools.
