Description

This repository features a textfile input data describing TCN surface exposure sample details presented in Leger et al. (2022), in the format required for the "online calculator formerly known as the CRONUS-Earth online calculators" version 3 to calculate exposure ages. The goal of this data repository is to make the process of re-calculating the exposure ages presented in this study easier. This dataset displays all samples collected: with no outlier removal. Please refer to Table 2 in original publication if you wish to remove the outliers originally interpreted as such by the authors. Link to calculator: https://hess.ess.washington.edu/ The input data is arranged by landforms studied and described in detail in Leger et al. (2022). Each sample block describes samples from a single landform. Please refer to original publication when using these data and/or re-calculating the exposure ages.

Steps to reproduce

-The user must copy-paste individual data blocks describing each landform in the "online calculator formerly known as the CRONUS-Earth online calculators" -link: https://hess.ess.washington.edu/ -In the original publication: the authors calculate the ages with LSDn scaling (Lifton et al., 2014) and the central Patagonia production rate (Kaplan et al., 2011) calibrated using the ICE-D database: http://calibration.ice-d.org/pub/28. -To this day, the atmosphere model used by this calculator is ERA40. -More info about the calculator parameters: https://sites.google.com/a/bgc.org/v3docs/home/calculation-details
