• High prevalence of anxiety (64.5%), depression (52%) and stress (47.2%) was found. • Sleeping ≥7 hours per day protects against stress, anxiety and depression symptoms. • Good family relationship is a protective factor against stress and depression. • Cigarette smoking increases the risk of anxiety and depression in students. • TikTok use is associated with a higher risk of depressive symptoms.
