Description

This dataset was generated during the development of our original manuscript, which aimed to integrate ChatGPT with OpenSees through the implementation of the Model Context Protocol (MCP). The primary objective of this integration was to establish a structured interaction layer that constrains the model’s responses to contextually valid information, thereby ensuring numerical rigor and engineering consistency. By adopting MCP, the workflow effectively mitigates the risk of hallucinations commonly observed in ChatGPT-StandAlone outputs, replacing them with verifiable results grounded in structural analysis. This approach demonstrates a significant advancement toward the reliable application of generative AI in seismic-resistant design and structural engineering research.
