Description

The case datasets of the new particle events including particle number size distribution (PNSD), non-refractory submicron aerosol species, CCN number concentrations (NCCN)) are shown here during two campaigns. One campaign in China was conducted from 28 August to 24 September 2015 in Beijing (BJ). The sampling site in urban Beijing (39.97°N, 116.37°E, ASL: 49 m) is situated in the Tower branch of Institute of Atmospheric Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The other campaign was conducted in Xingtai (XT, 37.18oN, 114.36oE, ASL: 180 m), which is located at the national weather station in southern Heibei province. The experiment period was from 6 May to 28 May 2016. While the bulk CCN number concentration was measured by the DMT-CCNc. The aerosol PNSDs were spanned the size range of 15-600 nm and 15–685 nm at BJ and XT site, respectively. The non-refractory submicron aerosol species are including organics, sulfate (SO4), nitrate (NO3), ammonium (NH4), and chloride (ChL).
