Winter Wheat Leaf Images Dataset

Wheat (Triticum aestivum) is one of the major crops which feed the population, but viruses, Bacteria, and Fungi have affected the crop. Nitrogen and chlorophyll are the main limiting factors in the growth of plants. They are also the most crucial parameters in managing agriculture. Deficiencies of these two may cause lower or unhealthy production. Wheat leaf images contain lots of detail and texture information. Leaf color is correlated with nitrogen content, and detection of nitrogen content in leaves is important for guiding farmers in applying fertilizer. The dataset contains 1081 images of wheat leaves. This dataset was collected by an RGB camera using OnePlus Nord2 5G Android-based mobile device. The dataset is collected from different areas of the Jaipur district (Rajasthan, India). This dataset can be used to analyze the evolution of plant leaves and the basic functional mechanism of ecosystems from the perspective of compound leaves. This dataset is created to enable nitrogen deficiency detection using a deep learning-based approach.
