Description

Tensile characterization of 3d printed ISO 527-2 type 1A multi-purpose specimens of neat polypropylene (HJ120UB by Borealis) and short fiber reinforced polypropylene (GD301FE by Borealis). Filament with 1.75mm diameter was produced and all specimens were printed using a Prusa i3 MK3S equiped with a Bondtech LGX extruder and a 0.6mm nozzle. Nomenclature: e.g. GD301FE_0-0-P_T255_1.txt GD301FE ... material grade 0-0 ... orientation in degrees of linear fill layers (0-90 would be a cross ply lay-up with alternating 0° and 90° layers) P ... indicates additional print perimeters 1 ... last number equals the number of repeats All text files contains the test parameters, the specimen geometry as well as evaluated single point data. The data columns contain nominal strain (%), nominal stress (MPa), time(s) and cross-head displacement(mm).
