Description

Previous study has suggested the implementation of BIPV/T for buildings with a minimum of 45% window-to-wall ratio (WWR), which relatively too high for tropical building where the suggested WWR ranges around 30-40%. Therefore, it is needed to investigate the feasibility of PV/T installation on vertical facades, on buildings in the tropics. This data presents three datasets consist of illuminance level, daylit area percentages, and electrical energy production to support the feasibility study of vertical facade integrated PV/T. The data was gathered through an experiment and simulation on classroom models that typologically represent school layout with central corridor, 3:2 classroom proportion, 30%-40% WWR in the low latitude area, which treated under several visible transmittance value and cell coverage ratio of PV/T.
