Email: benoit.palancade@ijm.fr Images were acquired with a ChemiDoC MP Imaging System (BIORAD; for yeast plates or immunoblot membranes revealed by chemiluminescence), a GelDoc EZ Imager (BIORAD; for silver stained gels), a CCD camera (CoolSNAP HQ; Photometrics; for microscopy images; Fig. 2, 4, S2, S3D, S4), coupled to a DM6000B microscope (Leica), or a CMOS camera (ORCA-Flash C11440; Hamamatsu; for microscopy images; Fig. S3B), coupled to a TE2000 microscope (Nikon). The lanes (or yeast drops) that are displayed in the corresponding Figures are boxed. Microscopy images, including .stk formats, can be displayed with ImageJ to highlight the regions of interest further displayed in the corresponding Figures.
