Raw questionnaire scores were combined (averaged) to composite scales. Descriptive statistics were calculated for all variables. Independent samples t-tests were used to assess gender differences on all variables. Bivariate correlation and multiple linear regression analyses were conducted using the scales scores. The scale scores were standardised before mediation analyses were conducted using Hayes (2017) PROCESS macro for SPSS.
