Description

Double torus data generation involves the computational creation of 3D models representing two torus shapes with a hollow intersection. The process uses mathematical equations and algorithms to define the torus surfaces and their intersection, allowing for accurate visualization and analysis of these complex geometries. This data can be utilized in various fields, such as computer graphics, geometric modeling, and scientific visualization, enabling researchers to explore and understand intricate toroidal structures with practical applications in architecture, design, and engineering. The data set has been generated following our proposed double torus data generation process.

Steps to reproduce

1. Torus 1 and Torus 2 have been produced from the parametric equations of a 4D torus; 2. Then union of the two tori has been taken; 3. After that, T1-cut and T2-cut have been calculated introducing an approximation to torus-torus intersection; 4. Finally, the double torus data has been generated by gluing T1-cut and T2-cut.
