Content analysis of National Olympic Committees Websites and Facebook pages

This dataset describes how National Olympic Committees (NOCs) use the web (i.e., the corporate website and the Facebook page) within the framework of dialogic communication. Obtained data is the result of a manual content analysis of 93 NOCs' website & Facebook page.


Steps to reproduce

Manually visit National Olympic Committees' websites and official Facebook pages and assess the inclusion or the exclusion of items present in the dataset. Items used are informed by the Dialogic Communication Framework first applied by Taylor et al. (2001) DOI: 10.1016/S0363-8111(01)00086-8
