These data are in-situ LA-ICPMS trace element and SHRIMP-SI data taken from the same locations across pyrite nodules. The figures show exactly where the analyses were taken (the laser ablation pits are the dark spots visible in the images). The LA-ICPMS analyses were taken after the SHRIMP analyses because the SHRIMP is the less destructive of the two techniques.
