Description

We examined the influence of two single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of the OXTR gene (rs53576 and rs2254298) on both empathy and plasma oxytocin levels in students. The column A shows a number of each subject. In the column B are showed the results of the EQ (Empathy Quotient) questionnaire. The result ranges from 0 to 80, where the higher score indicates a higher level of empathy. The column C shows the results of the RMET (Reading the Mind in the Eyes Test). The result is expressed as a total score, where the minimum score is 0 and the maximum score is 36. In the column D are showed the results of the plasma oxytocin levels expressed in pg/ml. The column E shows the genotypes of the OXTR gene rs53576 SNP. The column F shows the genotypes of the OXTR gene rs2254298 SNP. The column F shows the gender of participants, where male is marked with M and female with F.
