The Cognitive Internet of Things (CIoT) represents a paradigm shift by embedding intelligence, contextual awareness, and machine learning capabilities into IoT ecosystems. This paper explores the role of CIoT in entrepreneurship and innovation through a data-driven analysis of marketplace dynamics using a synthetic dataset of 509 entries. The study evaluates adoption trends, innovation performance, market opportunities, and entrepreneurial challenges across industries and regions. Findings suggest that CIoT fosters not only efficiency and automation but also new business models, digital marketplaces, and sectoral transformation. The paper concludes with recommendations and a future blueprint for policymakers, entrepreneurs, and investors to maximize the potential of CIoT ecosystems.
