A population of 500 patients was evaluated with a range aged 13 to 87 years, from whom panoramic radiographs were taken to detect the presence or absence of the anomaly, and if present, periapical radiographs were taken to confirm the diagnosis and establish the type. The results were analyzed with the SPSS program and statistical analysis (χ2 test). As a result, 16 patients (3.2%) were diagnosed with the anomaly, among which, eight were female (50%) and eight were male (50%)
