Steps to reproduce

On January 1st 2017, we searched Medline for “rat” and “stereotaxic”; “rat” and “stereotactic”; and “rat” and “stereotaxy”. We limited our search to articles in English published in the prior 5 years. We excluded articles using laboratory animals other than rats, articles not reporting the stereotaxic coordinates of the target, articles of which the full text was irretrievable, protocol-only articles and reviews.
