Description

Data illustrating weight loss (kg) and characteristics of 10 morbidly obese patients with heart failure who participated in Siddha Fasting. Data was gathered by clinic staff during routine follow up appointments. All participants achieved at least 10% weight loss. Siddha recommends fasting to reduce cardiac work load. Emotional and habitual eating is minimized and people learn to recognize hunger as a physiological and welcome sign of health. This practice intuitively deepens the mind-body understanding and transforms the relationship with eating.
