Practical instructional approach on Learners’ Academic Achievement in mathematics
The dataset provided generates from a research project aimed at investigating the impact of practical instruction on learners’ academic achievement in mathematics. The data were collected from 383 who were senior three (S.3) secondary school students of ages ranging from 13 to 22 (M= 17.56, SD = 1.198). Out of 383 students, 155 (40.5%) were males whereas 228 (59.5%) were females. Respondents’ demographics are also included in the data. Three files; the excel, SPSS files all containing raw data and the Mathematics achievement test (MAT) questionnaire file have all been uploaded on the Mendeley data repository.
