Description

Figure 3 - Resume Comparative analyses of biofilm biomass formed over 18 hours by S. sanguinis, S. gordonii, and S. salivariusbstrains. Biofilms were grown in 96-well plates using BHI medium with 1% sucrose under three conditions: BHI only (black), BHI supplemented with 10% human saliva (light gray), and BHI supplemented with 20% human serum (dark gray). Columns represent the mean of a representative triplicate experiment out of four independent experiments. Error bars indicate the standard deviation. Symbols denote statistically significant differences (Two-way ANOVA with Tukey’s post-test, p < 0.05). - Asterisk (*) indicates a significant difference between conditions for the same strain, using BHI as the control condition. - Hashtag (#)indicates a significant difference between strains for the same condition, using the reference strain as the control.
