Description

We investigated the impact of ostracism on the sense of agency from the embodied cognition paradigm.We addressed the following hypotheses and questions: H1: Inducing exclusion decreases positive moods and satisfaction with the sense of belonging, self-esteem, control, and meaningful existence. H2: Inducing exclusion decreases the intensity of the sense of agency. Q1: Does the effect of exclusion induction on mood, sense of belonging, self-esteem, control, and meaningful existence vary with different levels of bodily awareness? Q1: Does the effect of exclusion induction on the intensity of the sense of agency vary with different levels of bodily awareness?
