Description

All the data have been taken from 2 types of data acquisition tools. The first is through data acquisition (DAQ), and the second is through the Engine Management Unit. The Thrust data was taken via DAQ-9185. Meanwhile, Ambient Temperature, Ambient Pressure , Throttle Position ,Propeller Rotation, Fuel Pressure , Fuel Flow Rate , Airflow , Manifold Air Pressure , Exhaust Gas Temperature and Cylinder Head Temperature , are taken by EMU. The propeller RPM is calculated from the engine RPM using a reduction gear with a ratio of 2.54.

Steps to reproduce

Static thrust of propeller measured by calibrated loadcell OMEGA LC101-1.5K, 6 kN located at the fixed test bench in front of the engine, the propulsion system was moving at the carriage of the test bench then pressing the load cell. The load cell measurements were recorded at the DaQ data acquisition National Instruments C DAQ-9185. Engine performance parameters were collected using Engine Monitoring Unit Rotax EMU RS11.00.
