We relied in our research on an American report issued by the U.S. Embassy in Tehran, signed by the last American ambassador, William Sullivan. The report was released in 1979 and contains information about the possibility of the U.S. administration providing weapons to the government of Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi. The report was originally in Persian, and we translated it into Arabic.
