Description

The hypotheses that were tested through this study are the following: H1: There is a correlation between the number of touchstroke features used and the accuracy of the touch operation biometric system; Ho1: There is no correlation between the number of touchstroke features used and the accuracy of the touch operation biometric system; H2: There is a correlation between pattern complexity and accuracy of the touch operation biometric system; Ho2: There is no correlation between pattern complexity and accuracy of the touch operation biometric system; H3: There is a correlation between user training and accuracy of the touch operation biometric system; Ho3: There is no correlation between user training and accuracy of the touch operation biometric system. The extracted features on the modified Android Pattern-Lock application were Time on Dot (TOD) and Time Between Dot (TOD). This was later analyzed using the Dynamic Time Warping (DTW) Algorithm. The subsequent values in the tables are as a result of processing the column input with corresponding row data in the DTW algorithm to get the warp distance and use this to determine the Upper boundary, FAR, FRR, and Accuracy measures.
