Description

Growth and MTBE degradation data set of the complete combinatorial of 7 strains, creating 127 communities. The growth data was used to create BSocial ( https://m4m.ugr.es/BSocial.html), a web-based analytical tool deciphers social behaviour. More growth data is available in the link. The biodegradation data linked to each community confirms efficiency of the tool in selecting biodegrading functional consortia. Steps to reproduce

HT Method used as described in publication to mix the communities. Growth (triplicate analisis) was observed at 30ºC, over a 4 day period before mean growth rate and mean yield (no. generations) was calculated from each grwoth curve. Degradation was measured using a GCMS as described in the publication.
