Description

These data are from the Pallas Cloud Experiment (PaCE) in September 2019. The directory "level_0" contains the raw .csv files, the directory "level_1" contains the first pass processing (for example dn/dlog(Dp) computation) conducted by the "AirborneParticleAnalysis" software package available here: https://github.com/JGirdwood/AeroSAM-Analysis. Note that this software is required to re-import the data since all level 1 data are saved as pickled data structures using the python "cpickle" package. The directory "level_2" contains the plots generated by the "PlotPaceData2019.py" script included in the package. The data were published here: https://doi.org/10.5194/amt-2020-247. The data shows inter-comparison of the CAPS instrument with the UH-AeroSAM unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) equipped with a modification of the Universal Cloud and Aerosol Sounding System.

Steps to reproduce

The code required to analyse the data is available here: https://github.com/JGirdwood/AeroSAM-Analysis. A UCASS mounted on a multirotor in the method presented in Girdwood (2020), and a CAPS are required to reproduce these data.
