Description

This study conducted a survey targeting university students in mainland China who are currently using AI software, aiming to analyze their usage patterns and the impact on their learning. A total of 301 valid responses were collected from students across various universities in China, covering different academic levels and disciplines to ensure data representativeness. Through this research, we seek to understand the frequency of AI software usage, its primary application scenarios (such as academic research, coursework assistance, or daily use), and the influence of university AI courses on students’ adoption of AI software. Additionally, the study explores how AI software alters students’ learning approaches, such as whether it enhances learning efficiency, affects self-directed learning abilities, or raises concerns about AI ethics and future career development.
