Description

This dataset was created using information obtained directly from the monitoring system of a photovoltaic installation located in Cúcuta, Norte de Santander, Colombia. All data was collected at five-minute intervals throughout the entire year of 2024. The raw data was subsequently processed and cleaned to create a high-resolution database comprising four interrelated time series: solar energy production and the three main environmental variables that condition it. Missing or anomalous values were handled to ensure the integrity and continuity of the dataset, preparing it for use in time-series analysis and machine learning models. The database contains 5 columns: Fecha y hora (Timestamp): The date and time of the measurement in dd.MM.yyyy HH:mm format. Producción fotovoltaica (Photovoltaic Production): Energy production from the photovoltaic system, measured in watt-hours (Wh). Irradiación (Irradiance): Solar irradiance incident on the surface of the panels, measured in watts per square meter (W/m²). Temperatura ambiente (Ambient Temperature): Air temperature in the vicinity of the installation, measured in degrees Celsius (°C). Temperatura de módulo (Module Temperature): Temperature of the surface of the photovoltaic modules, measured in degrees Celsius (°C).
