Cognitive Uncertainty
Description
This dataset comes from a survey of office workers employed in an acquired or merged company in Poland in the last 10 years before the data collection. The data was collected by a professional company using the computer-assisted web interviewing method. The main part of the dataset consists of the answers for 36 statements. Respondents were asked to indicate their feelings after the merger/acquisition. The statements were meant to measure 6 latent variables: CU - Cognitive Uncertainty, JS - Job Satisfaction, CE - Communication Effectiveness, VL - Visionary Leadership, ER - Employee Resilience, and OI - Organisational Identification. The answers for each statement were indicated on the 5-point Likert-type scale (from -2, meaning ‘strongly disagree’, to 2, meaning ‘strongly agree’).
