Experimental data for strain rate sensitivity, microstructure variations, and stress-assisted β → α'' phase transformation investigation on the mechanical behavior of dual-phased titanium alloys
Description
Data required to reproduce the findings of the following publication: Kartik Kapoor, Priya Ravi, Diwakar Naragani, Jun-Sang Park, Jonathan D. Almer, Michael D. Sangid, Strain rate sensitivity, microstructure variations, and stress-assisted β → α” phase transformation investigation on the mechanical behavior of dual-phased titanium alloys, Materials Characterization, 2020, 110410, ISSN 1044-5803, https://doi.org/10.1016/j.matchar.2020.110410. The data consists of one Excel file with 8 sheets. Each sheet corresponds to the following figures in the paper: Sheet1 (Fig. 1b): Stress-strain curves for the alloys. Sheet2 (Fig. 3): SRS values corresponding to macroscopic strain for the alloys. Sheet3 (Fig. 4): Lattice strains corresponding to macroscopic strain for the alloys. Sheet4 (Fig. 5): Lattice hardening corresponding to applied stress for the alloys. Sheet5 (Fig. 7c): Lattice strain evolution corresponding to macroscopic strain in Ti-6246. Sheet6 (Fig. 7d): Volume fraction of the different phases corresponding to macroscopic strain in Ti-6246 specimen. Sheet7 (Fig. 8): Experimental and analytical lattice strain in α" phase in Ti-6246. Sheet8 (Fig. C1): Axial and transverse lattice strains corresponding to macroscopic strain for the alloys.
